Matariki is a time for remembrance, celebrating the present and looking to the future. This year’s theme of Matariki Herenga Waka is all about inclusion and encouraging all people to celebrate Matariki together.
 
Our Tīhate are inspired by Ngā Whetū o Matariki - we want our communities to all be able to name the stars and understand what they represent. The colours are our representation of inclusion and fun!
